It’s never too late to paint your story
Introducing the wild and whimsical world of crucible and canvas, the artist, a Pacific Northwest native ,whose journey into the realm of art began in the most unexpected of times - the pandemic! Armed with nothing but a surplus of time and a whole lot of pent-up creativity, I stumbled upon the magical world of painting like a squirrel discovering a hidden stash of nuts.
With a stroke of luck and perhaps a few too many DIY tutorials, I found solace in the soothing swirls of oil paint, unleashing my inner Picasso one meticulous canvas at a time. But oh, it didn't stop there. Ever the adventurous soul, my intrepid nature delved into the depths of mixed media.
Forget your run-of-the-mill art. I’m all about pushing my own boundaries. Mixing gouache with reckless abandon, sprinkling gold leaf like confetti, and dabbling in the ancient art of water gilding.
Raised in the misty forests of the Pacific Northwest, inspiration comes from the moss-covered trees, the gentle whispers of the rain, and the occasional rogue raccoon raiding their trash cans for inspiration (or snacks, who can tell?).
Intriguing, unpredictable, and oh-so-beautiful. So grab a cup of coffee (or a rain-soaked latte, if you're feeling extra PNW), and prepare to embark on a journey through my journey on my own whimsical wonderland. You won't just see art; you'll experience it in all its quirky glory.
